About Chase Nature

welcome to Chase Nature

Your home in the Heart of Nature

We make the best for all our Guests.
Chase Nature was created in 2021 to realize the dream of establishing Safari Camps in Tanzania South. John and Anita Daigle head the Chase Nature family. Originally from Canada, John is a long-term resident of Tanzania, while Anita was born and bred here. With a passion for conservation and showing visitors around their homeland, creating the safari company was a natural progression.
As the company has grown so has the Chase Nature family which now consists of a growing team of Managers, professional Chefs, safari guides, drivers, and housekeepers amongst others. We constantly train new and experienced team members to ensure the highest customer service, maintain impressive safety standards, and give our guests an unforgettable adventure in Tanzania.

For most of the year the lightest and most comfortable clothing is recommended, preferably of natural fibre pure cotton is ideal. The heat is dry and the sun can be fierce, so long sleeves are recommended for safaris. A sun hat or bush hat is an essential item on safari. Sometimes in the evenings or early mornings the drop-in temperature may require a light sweater to be worn.

Nyerere Tented Camp is open throughout the top game-viewing months of June to March. The season begins as soon as the rains finish in Jun. After this time Nyerere National Park is absolutely stunning, the skies are clear and vegetation is greener. The migratory birds remain in plumage and are preparing to move on.As the season progresses the bush dries out, the game gathers near water and food and the sightings improve. The game viewing is generally exceptional & the temperatures go high. This is normally a busy time in the Camp.

Nyerere Tented Camp is located on the boundary of Nyerere National Park near the Mtemere Gate, which is the North- Western Gate Entrance. As we are on the boundary of the Park we are lucky to have free moment of animals through the camp and we have built a water hole to also attract them in the dry season.
